H.A.M. was a long-running gay Friday-nighter at the P.O.D. (The acronyms stood for Homo Action Moves and for House of Dance, respectively).
In its initial 1993 incarnation, the P.O.D. was a lovely, if smallish, venue. AFAIK it didn’t have any specifically queer nights until sometime around 1996 when H.A.M. started.

For a few years, H.A.M. was preceded every 2nd week by Gristle, a “transgressive cabaret show” hosted by Panti. It was an edgier, artier form of drag than the type seen in the George.

The venue was altered in 2004 and lost some of its character. H.A.M. resumed but it never seemed quite the same and it only lasted a year or 2 more.
I also have a flyer for a Friday night club in P.O.D called ART with Paddy Sheridan as DJ. I don’t remember the night; I suspect it predated H.A.M.

Most of the flyers for H.A.M. and Gristle seem to haver been designed, like those for Elevator, by Niall Sweeney.
